Start Up Your Engines With Footman James

Footman James is delighted to be sponsoring the National Motor Museum’s (NMM) start up area located on the Beaulieu estate, set in the heart of the New Forest.

Footman James is one of the leading classic vehicle insurance brokers and feels privileged to be working so closely with their partners at the National Motor Museum.

The National Motor Museum start-up area is an iconic feature of the museum. Two to three times a day the roaring sound of a classic car being woken from its slumber attracts a large crowd in the museum. Visitors then enjoy a brief history of the cars and are given the opportunity to ask questions to the engineers; who are privileged enough to work on these vehicles day in and day out.

Recognised for the finest collection of classic cars, motorcycles and motoring memorabilia in the world, the National Motor Museum, originally Montagu Motor Museum, opened its doors in 1952. The National Motor Museum has a collection of over 250 vehicles on display to tell stories of the British motoring heritage. The museum hosts a variety of events that friends, family, clubs and enthusiasts can attend and Footman James are pleased to have a presence and show their support in this arena.

David Bond, Director at Footman James commented: “It is a privilege that Footman James has the opportunity to be right in the centre of the action at the National Motor Museum. We are passionate about classic cars and are excited to be working with one of the largest British motor museums. Footman James has lined up some great competitions where enthusiasts can take part and win some amazing prices in association with the Start Up Area at the National Motor Museum. We look forward to this partnership and meeting fellow classic car enthusiasts
